Your wallet: credit off your next payment
Short answer
How do I use my wallet credit to pay for my plan?
You do not have to do anything. Credit in your wallet comes off your next payment by itself (a renewal, an upgrade or more seats) before your card is charged, and anything left carries to the payment after.
- Where
- Settings, Account tab, under Billing
- Last checked
Step by step
-
See your wallet
Open Settings, the Account tab, and scroll to Billing. The Wallet card shows your credit, what your next payment comes to after it, and every credit in and out.
-
Add referral earnings
If you are an affiliate, open the Affiliate programme section. Under What to do with your earnings, press Move to wallet. Any commission we have approved can move at once, with no minimum and no 30-day wait; that wait is only for payouts to your bank.
-
Let it pay
On your next payment Stripe takes the credit off first. If it covers the whole payment, your card is not charged at all.
Where credit comes from
Three things put credit in a wallet, and the Wallet card lists each one with its date.
- Referral earnings you chose to move there. Only when you press the button; otherwise they are paid to your bank as usual.
- The launch offer: upgrade by 10 October and €5 goes in your wallet with your first payment. A free trial started by then counts too, on its first payment.
- Unused days from your own plan when you join a team, which go to the team owner’s wallet.
What it cannot do
Wallet credit pays for your plan only. It cannot be withdrawn as money or moved to someone else. If a payment that earned offer credit is refunded, that credit goes too.
Starting a plan again
If your plan ended and you start one again, the first payment is the full price. Your wallet is held until that payment is made, then it comes back and comes off the payment after. Nothing is lost; a plan that simply renews is never held.
